We are currently seeking a talented 3D Environment/Map Designer to produce exceptional and high-quality game environments for our various projects. As a 3D Environment/Map Designer at XSQUADS, your responsibilities will include designing and developing realistic and visually appealing 3D environments and maps for multiplayer gameplay. You will collaborate with the game design team to create balanced, strategic, and engaging map layouts, while implementing lighting, textures, and materials to enhance environmental aesthetics. Furthermore, you will optimize assets for performance in real-time game engines and leverage AI-powered tools for efficient world-building. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a 3D Environment Artist or Level Designer in the gaming industry, along with proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing software like Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or ZBrush. Knowledge of game engine environments, particularly Unity 3D or Unreal Engine, is essential, as well as experience with terrain sculpting, world-building, and asset placement. Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and the ability to optimize 3D assets for real-time performance are also required. Preferred skills for this role include experience in creating large-scale open-world maps, understanding of procedural generation techniques, proficiency in physics-based rendering workflows, experience with map balancing and gameplay flow analysis, and a passion for designing immersive multiplayer battle environments.
