Role & responsibilities Sales Strategy & Leadership Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Lead and mentor the sales team (executives/BD managers) to drive performance. Allocate territories, set goals, and monitor sales activities. Business Development Identify and acquire new business opportunities in highways, railways, metro, and infrastructure projects . Build strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, government bodies, and infra companies. Leverage industry connections to generate leads and convert them into business. Client & Stakeholder Management Develop long-term partnerships with key clients. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements to close profitable deals. Act as the key representative of the company in client meetings and industry events. Market Intelligence & Expansion Track infrastructure industry trends, competitor activities, and upcoming tenders/projects. Identify new geographies and sectors for expansion. Provide feedback to management on market demands and product positioning. Coordination & Reporting Work closely with project, design, and technical teams to prepare proposals and bids. Present periodic MIS reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to management. Ensure CRM data and sales pipelines are properly maintained. Preferred candidate profile Graduate in Civil / Mechanical Engineering, MBA in Marketing or equivalent qualification preferred. 8-12 years of proven experience in infrastructure, construction materials, geosynthetics, or related industries . Strong track record in B2B / Project Sales, Business Development, and Key Account Management . Experience in dealing with Government bodies, EPC contractors, and large infrastructure projects . Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team . Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills . Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth. Candidate with prior experience in geosynthetics, construction chemicals, reinforcement products, or allied industries will be given preference. Willingness to travel extensively for business development and client meetings.
