Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Hydrogeologist based in Marmagao, with some work-from-home opportunities. The Hydrogeologist will be responsible for conducting geophysical surveys, groundwater exploration, and managing water resources. Responsibilities also include rainwater harvesting project implementation, water master planning, GIS mapping, and environmental service projects. Daily tasks involve both field work and data analysis to assess and develop sustainable water supply systems. The successful candidate will support hydrogeological investigations, groundwater monitoring, and water resource assessments under the guidance of senior professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in the field of hydrogeology. Key Responsibilities: Assist in conducting groundwater and surface water investigations. Collect field data including groundwater levels, water quality samples, and aquifer testing data. Participate in the installation and monitoring of wells, piezometers, and other instrumentation. Perform geological and hydrogeological mapping and analysis. Assist with data interpretation and report writing. Support environmental site assessments and remediation projects. Maintain accurate field notes, logs, and documentation. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and health & safety protocols during fieldwork. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field. 0–1 year of relevant experience (internships or academic projects may be considered).
