Tendering Specialist - Substation Automation & Protection

Role Overview: You will be part of the team aiming to develop a global value chain at Hitachi Energy, where key business activities, resources, and expertise are shared across geographic boundaries to optimize value for customers. Your role will involve providing high-quality engineering and commissioning support to Business Units and Center of Excellence across the Hitachi Energy world as part of Hitachi Energy's Global Foot Print strategy. You will be responsible for PG Operation Center Services such as system design, primary side design, secondary side design, sourcing, tendering, installation, and commissioning. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze customer needs and prepare Bill of Materials, deviation list, and detailed product configurations. - Deliver accurate cost estimations as per tender scope of work. - Elaborate bid prices and offering strategy in coordination with the team manager. - Participate in the Risk Review process as needed and verify commercial and legal interests of the offer. - Promote process feedback to the organization and ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines. - Submit quality deliverables on time to promote a positive customer experience. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics. - 5-10 years of experience in the field. - Sound knowledge in Protection & Control products and Substation Automation systems. - Prior engineering and tendering experience to handle tenders and manage risk assessments. - High awareness of quality and standardization, including re-use, and excellent analytical skills. - Ability to handle high load capacity by setting priorities. - Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word & PowerPoint). - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
