Role & responsibilities Drive sales volume & market share through participation in tenders pertaining to Tata Motors Passenger Commercial Vehicles Business . Devising winning strategy for individual tenders. To build rapport with Government and State Transport Undertaking (STU) commercial vehicles Business for sustainable growth & long term relationship. The Candidate should identify the bid/Tender floated by the Government Departments and State Transport Undertaking- Product mapping with bid specification. Participation in the bid/Tender by either Tata Motors or with dealer channel partner/external fabricators. Sales Activity Planning and training of manpower for proper understanding and knowledge. Close coordination with R&D, Plant, for production, vehicle availability, stock monitoring and billing. Coordination with Marketing and Product team teams for suitability of products for tender participation, or modifications needed thereof Ensuring completion of Sales cycle from order generation to receivables. MIS based on Billing nos. and Competition benchmarking on GeM. Tracking competition activities, sale trends, new product Launches to stay competitive in the assigned territory. Preferred candidate profile Knowledge of Automobiles/Auto Ancillaries Preferably Buses (ICE, EV, Other) Tender Management GeM Operations Knowledge of Bus Body.
