JOB TITLE : Sr. Electrical Engineer – (EHV & HV)
Tendering & Estimation
NATURE : Permanent Employment
REPORTING TO : MANAGING DIRECTOR
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES DESIRED: -
- Knowledge of standard practices, tools and terminology in the electrical trade
- Knowledge of electrical & Electronics theory
- Knowledge of Power System
- Knowledge of the safety hazards of the work and the necessary safety precautions needed while engaging in the routine work
- Knowledge of the various types of switchgears & its selections required for the design of the HT/EHV SLD for respective projects.
- Knowledge of fixtures and equipment used generally in projects
- Develop the ability to plan and supervise the work of the team
- Ability to perform manual work over extended periods of time
- Skills in using the electrical installation equipment
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
TENDERING & ESTIMATION
- Daily check all Online Portals for Tenders.
- Do registrations for new portals for Govt and Private Sectors
- Studying the tender documents & preparing tender forms.
- Attending pre-bid meeting to resolve techno-commercial queries of tenders.
- Preparation of bill of material as per project details.
- Preparing cost estimates, and tender summary & prepares bid on approved tender summary.
- Working on overall pricing of the product, considering all parameters of the material
- Based on client’s various types of enquiries with specifications to prepare proposals, estimate & quote, tendering & e-bidding for the HT/EHV/Pvt project cost, considering switchgears cost with fabrication, bus bar & wiring material with the help of overall experience of HT/EHV/Pvt project experience.
- Participating in reverse/forward auction.
- Thus, overall responsibilities of costing and tendering activities. Effectively handling the government and private tenders.
PREPARING QUOTATIONS / OFFERS
- Preparing techno-commercial offer & reviewing before submission to customer.
- Estimate of all equipment & material as per customers & consultants’ requirements.
- Preparation of tenders & offers with proper taxation & terms for payment & mode of supply.
CO-ORDINATION WITH FINANCE & ACCOUNTS
- Arranging EMD/BG in co-ordination with accounts/finance dept. & gathers information on applicable taxes, levies, duties etc. From finance dept.
- Submits the bid and keeps track of the bid results for future benchmarking,
- Reviewing /analysing lost tenders and provide strategic inputs to costing for improved pricing.
- Providing final prices to marketing team.
FOLLOW-UP & NEGOTIATIONS
- Close interaction with sales executive, product specialist & technical support executive for closing of project orders.
- Negotiations with clients, suppliers & vendors for effective techno-commercial cost & proper discount on the material, to give the customer inline expected cost of project. Also, co-ordinate with client as well as vendors for proper understanding of project.
POST -ORDER ACTIVITIES
- Order checking after receiving order.
- Preparing Guaranteed Technical Particulars (GTP) with support of design team / Consultant / Client.
- Coordination & follow-ups with regular clients for enquiries & orders.
- Managing key account of renowned Private / Government sectors on corporate level.
POST ORDER COORDINATION ACTIVITIES
- Ensure that each crew has the tools it needs to meet project milestones
- Create project schedules that include materials estimates and manpower needs to be submitted to management.
- Assist in documenting project phases and creating summary reports for company management.
- Plan and Achieve Weekly Billing targets.
- Follow up for recovery of Outstanding payments/price variations.
- Work with field personnel to handle project issues as they arise
- Build a strong team by cultivating relationships between each crew and illustrating how individual team members affect the success of the entire project.

Pay: ₹11,829.98 - ₹49,971.21 per month
