With 9-12 years of experience in Irrigation/ Water Supply projects, the candidate should have successfully executed a single project with a volume exceeding 500 crores. As a Deputy Project Manager, you are required to possess the ability to oversee the entire project, with in-depth knowledge of Tender Clauses, Billings, Department Correspondence, and Claims. Your role will involve resolving various issues such as Forest Permissions, Highway Permissions, and Local Bodies Permissions. Having a strong understanding of Construction Methods, Materials, and Legal Regulations is essential for this role. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are imperative to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently. Your responsibilities will include preparing detailed project plans considering timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates. It is crucial to monitor and control the progress of projects by making necessary adjustments to meet objectives. Creating a collaborative and high-performance working environment is key to success in this role. As a Deputy Project Manager, you must be proficient in budget preparation, management, cost control, and achieving targeted margins. You should assess project expenditure approvals while considering financial implications on the project cost. Implementing quality control measures, safety regulations, and negotiating with contractors, suppliers, and vendors are also part of your duties. Moreover, planning and managing resources, manpower, and materials to achieve budgeted/planned performance is essential.
