We are seeking a highly skilled Progress OpenEdge Developer to become a part of our team and contribute to the development of mission-critical enterprise applications. If you possess expertise in OpenEdge ABL/4GL, database tuning, and system integrations, we are interested in having a conversation with you! Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating strong experience in Progress OpenEdge ABL/4GL development, encompassing both procedural and object-oriented (OOP) programming. - Showcasing proficiency in Progress RDBMS, SQL queries, and optimizing database performance. - Utilizing your experience with OpenEdge GUI/Character UI/WebSpeed to develop interactive applications. - Applying your knowledge of Progress AppServer, Web Services (SOAP/RESTful APIs), and their seamless integrations. - Understanding multi-threading, background processes, and batch jobs within the OpenEdge environment. - Implementing strategies for OpenEdge multi-tenant database and partitioning. - Leveraging strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using Progress Debugger and log-based analysis. Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with: - Progress Developer Studio for OpenEdge (PDSOE). - ProDataSets, Temp-Tables, and Business Logic APIs. - OpenEdge ADM2, SmartObjects. - Working with JSON, XML, SOAP, and third-party API integrations. - Utilizing Jenkins, Git, or other CI/CD tools for source control and automation. - Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as ABLUnit. - Understanding OpenEdge Service Bus (ESB) and integrating with Enterprise Applications. This is a full-time role with benefits including food, health insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift and requires in-person presence at the specified work location.
