As a Road Transportation Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all road transportation activities across PAN India. Your role will involve serving as the primary point of contact for all road transportation inquiries and managing end-to-end transportation operations for the west region, including EXIM logistics, inland, and cold chain transportation. You are expected to have a proven track record of effectively handling various types of shipments, such as LTL, FTL, ODC cargo, and temperature-controlled cargo. Additionally, you will be responsible for deploying transportation management systems (TMS) within India and ensuring their efficient usage by guiding users. Vendor management will be a key aspect of your role, including the development of new vendor partnerships to meet project requirements. You will also play a crucial role in designing process flows for road transportation TMS by providing valuable inputs to the IT development team.
