Roles and Responsibilities Design and develop static equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and other related equipment, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards. Conduct design calculations, stress analysis, and other engineering assessments for static equipment using specialized software (e.g. PV Elite, NozzlePro, HTRI) Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, technical specifications, and reports. Review and interpret project specifications, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME, EN, API) to ensure designs meet the required criteria. Assist in the selection and sizing of materials and components, considering mechanical properties, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Perform inspections, testing, and quality assurance procedures to ensure equipment meets performance and safety standards. Participate in design reviews and client meetings, providing technical support and recommendations. Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide solutions to improve functionality and efficiency.
