You are expected to be a dynamic, articulate, and confident anchor to present news, talk shows, and special programs for our satellite channel. Your role will involve presenting daily news bulletins or entertainment shows live or recorded, conducting interviews, writing or reviewing scripts, coordinating with producers, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current events and industry topics. You must engage the audience with a compelling on-air presence, follow channel guidelines, and participate in promotional shoots or special projects as required. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field. Prior experience in television anchoring is preferred, although freshers with talent may also apply. You should have excellent command over the language of communication, strong voice modulation, and pronunciation skills. Comfort with live broadcasting, teleprompter reading, handling breaking news, and last-minute script changes is essential. Good interpersonal and interviewing skills, a presentable appearance, and confident body language are also required.
