Job Description (JD) – Telesales Executive

Department: Sales & Business Development Industry: Event Management & Event Organisation Designation: Telesales Executive Reporting To: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

1. Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-orientated telesales executive to generate business leads, connect with potential customers, promote the company's event management services, and convert enquiries into confirmed business opportunities.

The candidate will be responsible for making outbound calls, handling inbound enquiries, explaining event services, following up with prospective clients, and achieving monthly sales targets.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential customers, corporate clients, and prospective leads.
• Generate leads for event management services, including:
• Corporate events and conferences.
• Birthday parties and private celebrations.
• Wedding and engagement events.
• Exhibitions and trade shows.
• Product launches and promotional events.
• College festivals and entertainment events.
• Explain the company's services, packages, pricing, and event solutions to potential clients.
• Handle incoming calls, website enquiries, and leads received through social media and other platforms.
• Understand customer requirements, event preferences, budgets, and expectations.
• Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales and business development team.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate with the operations team for event requirements.
• Follow up regularly with potential customers to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Maintain a database of leads, customer details, call records, and follow-up status.
• Achieve daily calling targets and monthly sales conversion targets.
• Build and maintain good relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Collect customer feedback and maintain proper communication until the event booking is confirmed.

3. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: 12th Pass / Graduate.
• 1–3 years of experience in telesales, telemarketing, or customer relationship management preferred.
• Freshers with good communication and convincing skills can also apply.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Knowledge of Kannada or other regional languages will be an added advantage.
• Good convincing, negotiation, and sales-closing abilities.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, CRM, and email communication.
• Ability to handle customer objections and convert leads into sales.
• Target-orientated and self-motivated personality.
