1. Modeling (Tekla Modeler):
Build and update the 3D structural model per design drawingsCoordinate clashes and maintain model standardsGenerate preliminary quantities for estimates2. Detailing (Tekla Detailer):Produce shop/assembly/erection drawings and NC/DXF exportsDefine welds, bolts and material properties for fabricationPrepare material, bolt and cut lists for procurement3. Quality Control (Tekla Checker):Review models & drawings for accuracy, standards compliance and clash resolutionValidate numbering, part properties, welds/bolts and material specsDocument non-conformities and drive corrective actions
Technical Skills:
1. Expert in Tekla Structures workflows (model, detail, reporting)2. Proficient with 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD, Revit)3. Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes and relevant standards 4. Attention to detail & spatial reasoning5. Clash detection & resolution6. Clear communication & teamwork across disciplines
