We are seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to oversee the infrastructure environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing TechOps environments and possess strong leadership capabilities to drive the success of our IT operations. As the Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include supervising a team of admins and engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. You will promote a positive work environment, encourage teamwork and collaboration, and monitor workloads to ensure optimal resource utilization. Additionally, you will identify training needs within the team, coordinate training programs, and provide regular reports and updates to TL/Managers on team performance and operational metrics. You will be responsible for monitoring system performance, addressing any issues or potential risks proactively, and ensuring SLA adherence is met. Collaboration with other departments in case of issues, mentoring and supporting team members, and fostering a culture of professional growth and development are also key aspects of the role. Furthermore, you will lead and manage all high severity outage situations, assist with onboarding new team members, and participate in continual service improvement projects. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent certification. Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and ITIL certification are advantageous. A minimum of 9 years of experience in TechOps support, with at least 3 to 4 years in a supervisory role, is required. Additionally, you should have proven experience in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within a Wintel environment, excellent leadership and team management skills, and strong communication skills.
