As a Technical Consultant at EY, you will have the opportunity to work with Microsoft Application Technologies (D365 F&O and AX2012) as part of a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams. Your main responsibilities will include participating in requirements analysis, collaborating with internal teams for software design and architecture, writing clean and scalable code using MS programming languages, testing and deploying applications and systems, as well as revising, updating, refactoring, and debugging code. You will also be expected to improve existing software, develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), and demonstrate excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Additionally, you should have an understanding and experience of software development best practices and be willing to work in night shifts and provide on-call support. To succeed in this role, you should have at least 2 to 4 years of experience, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in building and deploying solutions based on Cloud. You should also have at least 1+ years of experience in Dynamics technical design and development, including X++, C#, SSRS, and BI development. Experience with Visual Studio, .NET development, Microsoft LCS framework, data migration, integration development, Azure development, Azure DevOps, and version control systems such as Source control, Git hub, VSTS is required. Knowledge of Azure services, Azure SQL, migrations in D365 and older versions of AX, and industry-specific best practices is also beneficial. To qualify for this role, you must possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. A degree in Information Technology or equivalent working experience is preferred, along with exposure to working in shifts and on-call support. In terms of qualifications, a B.E/ B. Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. (CS)/ MBA degree and valid Microsoft certifications (MS SQL Database, Dynamics F&O) would be advantageous. Strong English skills (written and verbal) are required, and knowledge of other languages depending on the location is welcome.
