Job Title: Business Development Manager Data Center Solutions Location: Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai Department: Sales / Business Development Reports To: Director Sales & Strategy Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager specializing in Data Center setup and related solutions . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identifying business opportunities, driving sales, building client relationships, and overseeing end-to-end data center project acquisition. The role requires expertise in data center infrastructure, cloud, colocation, and managed services, coupled with a strong network within the industry. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in the data center segment. Generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline through networking, industry events, and market research. Present and pitch data center solutions to enterprise clients, government bodies, and large organizations. Client Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the pre-sales and sales cycle. Understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions. Strategic Partnerships Collaborate with OEMs, technology partners, and service providers to develop joint go-to-market strategies. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership terms. Project Coordination Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to implementation. Provide input on solution design and architecture to align with client needs. Market Intelligence & Strategy Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the data center industry. Contribute to the development of strategic business plans. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred. Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of experience in business development or sales in the IT/data center industry. Proven track record of selling data center setup, colocation services, cloud, and managed infrastructure solutions . Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (power, cooling, racks, cabling, security, etc.). Familiarity with cloud services, virtualization, storage, networking, and disaster recovery . Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong network with enterprise clients and government agencies. Ability to work independently and achieve revenue targets.
