Role Overview: As a Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer in the IT Advisory Services team at EY, you will have the opportunity to work on various Guidewire engagements for global customers. You will be a valuable team member, contributing to different technical streams and ensuring the successful completion of assigned tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute as a team member in various technical streams of Guidewire engagements - Interface and communicate effectively with onsite coordinators - Complete assigned tasks on time and provide regular status reports to the lead Qualifications Required: - BE/BTech/MCA with 1.5 to 3 years of industry experience - Mandatory skills include Java 5, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT - Strong proficiency in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, and any Enterprise Messaging System - Knowledge and experience in Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic - Real-time experience in enterprise system integration, preferably in the Insurance domain - Understanding and experience of software development best practices - Excellent business communication skills - Experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter Configuration and Integration - Experience in the Insurance domain, particularly in Property & Casualty - Prior experience in client-facing roles Additional Details: At EY, you will have the chance to build a career in a global environment that values inclusivity and technology, allowing you to become the best version of yourself.
