We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience in CassandraDB Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our database infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of CassandraDB and the ability to work in a hybrid model with rotational shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our database systems. Responsibilities Manage and optimize CassandraDB database infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. Monitor database performance and implement necessary adjustments to improve efficiency. Provide support for database-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements. Oversee the deployment of database updates and patches to maintain system security and stability. Develop and maintain database documentation including configuration settings and operational procedures. Implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity and ensure business continuity. Conduct regular database audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities. Provide training and support to junior team members on CassandraDB best practices. Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical database systems. Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of database systems with other IT components. Analyze database performance metrics and generate reports to inform decision-making processes. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in CassandraDB and related technologies to continuously improve database management practices. Qualifications Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in CassandraDB Administration. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues. Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Show proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Have experience with backup and recovery strategies for large-scale database systems. Be familiar with database security best practices and compliance requirements. Display a proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends. Hold a relevant certification in CassandraDB Administration or a related field. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model with rotational shifts. Have a strong understanding of database architecture and design principles. Show experience in developing and maintaining database documentation. Be capable of providing training and support to junior team members.
