As the Head of Technology - New Initiatives at Matrimony.com, you will play a pivotal role in driving the convergence of cutting-edge technology and matrimonial services to spearhead the next groundbreaking project. You will lead a minimum of 1 product tech team towards achieving tech supremacy. Your responsibilities will include: - Strategic Tech Road mapping: - Architect and implement a technological vision aligned with industry advancements. - Ensure seamless alignment of technology strategies with business benchmarks. - Product Engineering: - Pilot the development and deployment of the flagship min1 product, focusing on scalability and efficiency. - Oversee the product's lifecycle from prototype to production readiness. - Team & Talent Dynamics: - Scout, mentor, and lead a high-caliber tech brigade. - Foster a culture of relentless innovation and rigorous problem-solving. - Tech Stack Mastery: - Choose and manage the latest tech stack, including Node.js, React, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, GraphQL, Docker, etc. - Ensure integration and adaptation of next-gen technologies. - Stakeholder Collaboration: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and the global tech community. - Translate technical concepts into actionable plans for diverse stakeholders. - Risk & Resilience: - Implement top-tier practices for data protection, compliance, and system resilience. - Stay updated on tech trends to proactively mitigate potential challenges. Your skills should encompass: - Visionary Coding: Proficiency in NodeJS, PHP, Python, and Java. - Enchanted Design: Mastery in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Ionic, Flutter, ReactJS, ReactNative, VueJs. - Architectural Alchemy: Expertise in web and mobile architectures, databases, WAF, Load Balancers, DNS. - API Incantations: Fluent in REST and GraphQL for crafting resonant APIs. - Data Conjuring: Proficiency in data engineering. - DevSecOps Wizardry: Mastering DevSecOps practices and CI/CD processes. - Cloud Enigma: Knowledge of Terraform, Cloud Formation, and cloud technologies. - Database Sorcery: Proficiency in MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, HDFS. - Code Enchantment: Experience in APM, monitoring, and load optimization. - Testing Arcana: Expertise in TDD, BDD, QA practices, and test case preparation. In terms of qualifications and experience, the ideal candidate should possess: - Mastery over modern tech stacks with a track record of deploying disruptive digital solutions. - Experience in sculpting and scaling mobile apps and websites. - Demonstrable leadership skills with tangible achievements. - A minimum of 8-10 years in tech leadership within a dynamic ecosystem. - A Bachelor's degree along with over 15 years of technical and people management experience.
