Technology Controls Testing Analyst

Role Overview: Join us as a Technology Controls Testing Analyst. We will look to you to protect the bank by assuring that our applications and technology infrastructure are adequate, effective, and fit for purpose on an end-to-end basis. You will be responsible for clearly documenting any control weaknesses identified within the adequacy and effectiveness assessments and testing undertaken. Key Responsibilities: - Work with Information Technology General Controls, including complex Automated Controls, and contribute to the ongoing design and development of assurance processes and methodology. - Maintain detailed test documentation and reports for the technology you assess, keeping stakeholders informed of testing progress and results in line with quality expectations. - Clearly communicate any identified control weaknesses to the team, relevant business contact, or Subject Matter Expert (SME). - Contribute to the development and delivery of an annual risk-based assurance program. - Collaborate with business teams at the relevant level to ensure a comprehensive understanding of controls and their testing procedures. - Perform walkthroughs with stakeholders on the technology you assess, documenting high-quality control testing workpapers. - Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for technology controls. - Undertake adequacy and effectiveness assessments of technology controls. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in developing and executing test plans on technology with IT General Controls and complex Automated Controls, including adequacy and effectiveness of technology controls. - At least one year of relevant experience in controls testing. - Knowledge of CISA standards and familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks. - Exposure to ITGC, SOX, SOC, and ISO27001 control testing. - Ability to identify risks associated with the use of IT applications and infrastructure and assess the internal controls that provide mitigation. - Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively document test plans, results, and communicate findings to the team, stakeholders, and SMEs. - Ability to identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements to strengthen internal control frameworks.,
