Technology Consulting - Senior

As a member of the KPMG in India team, you will be responsible for developing integration code to automate operational activities in the Security Operations Center (SOC). Your role will involve implementing advanced technological solutions and innovative automations, along with designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient Python code for various automation tasks. You will also be tasked with visualizing data through Dashboards and reports. To excel in this role, you must possess strong Python skills and have experience with SOAR tools such as Splunk Phantom, Palo Alto Demisto, or other platforms. A basic understanding of SIEM concepts like Splunk or Azure Sentinel, logs, events, alerts, incidents, and content rules is essential. Previous experience as a SOC analyst and knowledge of SecOps tools like ServiceNow or RSA Archer will be beneficial. Additionally, you should have experience in implementing REST APIs, familiarity with front-end technologies and frameworks like HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript, and node.js, and expertise in security incident management processes. Proficiency in tools like Power BI, Power Automate, Tableau, and a collaborative teamwork approach are key requirements for this role. As a qualified candidate, you are passionate about cybersecurity, have previous experience in security operations centers, and can effectively contribute to investigations alongside managers and leads in different time zones. Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, NIST 800-61R2 standard, and exposure to cyber incidents, especially advanced persistent threats (APTs), will be advantageous.
