Responsibilities - Execute basic software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting. - Write secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with peer guidance. - Interpret architecture and design representations as well as nonfunctional requirements to develop secure, stable software against a defined architecture. - Actively apply automation to reduce manual tasks in the Software Development Life Cycle. - Address basic code quality issues. - Gather, analyze, and synthesize basic data sets for technical troubleshooting and insights to drive continuous improvements. - Break down routine technical tasks to troubleshoot and solve issues. Qualifications - Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts and minimum 2 years of applied experience. - Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Ansible. - Proficient knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a given technical discipline (e.g., Cloud, etc.). - Experience in observability tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and others for white and black box monitoring, service level objective alerting, and telemetry collection. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools like Jules, Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform. - Ability to identify new technologies and solutions relevant to ensure design constraints are met by the software team. - Familiarity with troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues.
