Role Overview: KPMG in India is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Machine Learning Engineer. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand business context and key questions. Your primary responsibilities will include creating Proof of Concepts (POCs) and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), guiding them through production deployment, influencing machine learning strategy for digital programs, and making solution recommendations that balance speed to market and analytical soundness. You will also be responsible for developing analytical and modeling solutions using various tools, formulating model-based solutions, designing algorithms, and deploying them to production for actionable insights. Key Responsibilities: - Work with business stakeholders and SMEs to understand business context and key questions - Create POCs/MVPs and guide them through production deployment - Influence machine learning strategy for digital programs - Make solution recommendations balancing speed to market and analytical soundness - Develop analytical/modeling solutions using tools like Python, R, TensorFlow - Formulate model-based solutions by combining machine learning algorithms with other techniques - Design, adapt, and visualize solutions based on evolving requirements - Deploy algorithms to production for actionable insights - Compare results from various methodologies and recommend optimal techniques - Lead discussions at peer reviews and positively influence decision-making - Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise in machine learning techniques - Facilitate sharing of new ideas and best practices across geographies Qualification Required: - Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering at a minimum - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with programming knowledge - Advanced skills in statistical/programming software and data querying languages - Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS data management tools - Proficiency in statistical concepts and ML algorithms - Knowledge of Agile principles and process - Ability to lead, manage, and deliver customer business results through data scientists or professional services team (Note: Additional details about KPMG in India have been omitted from the final JD as they are not directly related to the job role),
