In the role at Ensono, you will be part of a team focused on legacy modernization projects. You will work with experts to deliver high-quality products to clients within deadlines. Responsibilities include enhancing core classes for modernized environments, mentoring team members, and contributing to the migration of legacy applications to modern platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Mainframe expertise for analytical application development and testing of Cobol/DB2 programs. - Develop libraries for modernized environments and conduct testing to ensure program functionality. - Identify and resolve issues during testing, implementing code corrections and enhancements. - Collaborate with the team to enhance productivity through process improvements. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of Mainframe Applications testing experience. - Proficiency in Manual and Automation testing, with a strong grasp of JCLs. - Knowledge of coding and automation tools. - Ability to write test cases and strategies. - Experience with legacy languages and databases like Mainframe, COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, IDEAL, and Datacom. Preferred Qualifications: - Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. - Experience in Object-oriented programming (Java, C#, etc.), Eclipse or Visual Studio, Spring or .NET, and Relational Databases (SQL/MYSQL/ORACLE). - Capability to mentor junior colleagues. - Undergraduate/Post Graduate degree, coding boot camp certification, or equivalent experience.
