Overview:

The technical writer will develop comprehensive, accessible, and user-friendly documentation supporting AT&T Net Bond Software Defined Cloud Interconnect (SDCI). This documentation will enhance the user experience, facilitate seamless onboarding, and ensure effective use of the product portal during the upcoming launch of the free trial.

Detailed Scope:

1. Comprehensive Help Content Development

• Step-by-step user guides for key SDCI Portal workflows.
• Detailed FAQs covering common inquiries.
• Troubleshooting guides for frequent technical issues.
• Specific use case examples tailored to:
• Enterprise IT Administrators
• Decision Makers
• Support Staff

2. Ensuring Accessibility and Searchability

• Documentation integrated directly within the SDCI Portal interface.
• Search optimization for quick retrieval of information within the portal.

3. Synchronization with Product Releases

• Regular collaboration with product management, development, and QA teams.
• Ongoing documentation updates aligned with product enhancements, feature additions, and bug fixes.

4. Onboarding and Transition Guides

• Clear onboarding documentation for rapid account setup from Business Central (BC).
• Detailed transition guides for converting from trial to paid subscriptions.

5. Documentation of Core Functionalities

Detailed guides on:

• Connection ordering and management for Azure, AWS, Google and Oracle clouds
• Notification and alert configuration (thresholds, escalation paths, notification channels).
• Bandwidth management
• Redundancy setup
• Connection insight & reporting
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), including user management, custom roles, and hierarchy.
• Support ticketing process
• Advanced portal tools including audit logging and troubleshooting utilities.

6. Integration of Support Resources

• Direct links to API documentation.
• Contact information for support and feedback.
• Provision of downloadable PDFs for offline access.

7. Knowledge Base Management

• Creation and maintenance of a self-service knowledge base with FAQs and practical use-case examples.

8. Cloud Provider Connectivity Guides

Detailed step-by-step instructions specific to:

• Microsoft Azure
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Oracle Cloud

Each guide will include:

• Detailed instructions on setting up end-to-end connectivity.
• Step-by-step guidance on managing connectivity.
• Descriptions of required applications to support connectivity for each cloud provider.

• Experience with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, Confluence, or similar.
• Knowledge of graphic tools for creating diagrams (e.g., Visio, Snagit).

• Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness in documentation.

Organizational Skills:

• Ability to structure documentation logically and manage multiple projects or documents simultaneously.
