The Data Architect is responsible for designing, creating, deploying, and managing the organization's data architecture. This involves defining how the data will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities and IT systems, along with any applications utilizing or processing that data. As the Data Architect, your key responsibilities will include leading and managing the entire Offshore Data Team, designing and implementing effective database solutions and models, examining and identifying database structural necessities, assessing database implementation procedures for compliance with regulations, overseeing data migration, monitoring system performance, recommending solutions for database systems improvement, and educating staff members through training and individual support. To excel in this role, you must possess proficiency in Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, T-SQL, DBT, Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, ETL/ELT, PySpark, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Power BI, Tableau, Agile Scrum, IT Service Management, Client Services, and Techno-Functional Management. Your expertise should extend to database management, including SQL and NoSQL databases, database design and implementation, data modeling encompassing conceptual, logical, and physical models, data integration from various sources to ensure consistency and quality, data warehousing concepts and solutions, data governance principles like data quality management and compliance, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI, programming languages like Python, R, or Java for data processing, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, project management abilities, and strong leadership skills to guide and mentor team members.
