We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to drive sales growth of ICT (Information & Communication Technology) and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education products and services. The role involves prospecting schools, generating leads, closing sales, ensuring timely payment collection, and nurturing long-term client relationships . This is a field-intensive role requiring frequent travel to schools within assigned districts. Job Locations: Nagercoil, Kerala, Bangalore Key Responsibilities 1. Prospecting & Lead Generation Identify and target potential schools for ICT & STEM solutions through research, education fairs, and networking. Build and maintain a database of key decision-makers (principals, administrators, HODs). Initiate contact via cold calls, visits, and presentations to generate interest. Maintain consistent follow-ups to build strong school relationships. 2. Product Presentation & Sales Deliver impactful presentations and product demos to school stakeholders. Clearly explain the value of ICT & STEM education aligned with school curriculum. Customize sales pitches to meet specific school needs. Address queries related to pricing, features, and implementation. 3. Order & Payment Management Convert leads into confirmed orders through negotiation and agreement finalization. Ensure accurate documentation of sales contracts and agreements. Coordinate with logistics/operations teams for smooth delivery and implementation. Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain transparent financial dealings. 4. Client Relationship Management Build long-term partnerships with schools to ensure repeat business. Provide post-sales support and resolve concerns effectively. Gather client feedback and share insights with product teams. Act as the key point of contact, ensuring high customer satisfaction. 5. Market Intelligence & Reporting Track education sector trends and competitor activities. Prepare regular sales performance and payment collection reports. Analyze sales outcomes and suggest strategies to achieve/exceed targets. 6. Travel & Territory Management Conduct frequent school visits across assigned districts. Maintain regular follow-ups with existing clients to identify upselling opportunities. Plan and optimize travel schedules for effective territory coverage. Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (preferred). Experience: 24 years in sales (Education sector/ICT/STEM background preferred). Technical Skills: Familiarity with ICT/STEM solutions, proficiency in CRM tools & MS Office. Soft Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Other Requirements: Willingness to travel extensively across districts. Valid driving license and access to transport (as required). High level of self-motivation and results orientation. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Lead Generation: Number of schools identified & leads created. Sales Achievement: Orders closed, revenue generated, % target met. Payment Collection: Timeliness and efficiency in collections. Client Retention: Repeat business and client satisfaction levels. Travel Efficiency: Schools visited and territory coverage.
