Technician trainee

The Technician Trainee will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn about Royal Enfield motorcycles, from diagnostics to service. Key Responsibilities:

• Training and Skill Development:
• Participate in comprehensive training programs to develop technical skills in motorcycle repair and servicing.
• Learn to perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and other standard services.
• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
• Learn to diagnose motorcycle issues by performing inspections, testing components, and using diagnostic equipment.
• Assist senior technicians in the repair and troubleshooting process.
• Bike Maintenance and Repair:
• Assist with the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of components like engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and suspension.
• Learn to perform maintenance tasks including fluid changes, brake repairs, and electrical component diagnostics.
• Customer Service:
• Communicate with customers (under supervision) about their motorcycle issues and service requirements.
• Assist in providing updates on service status and any issues discovered during servicing.
• Inventory Management:
• Assist in managing tools, parts, and equipment used for service and repairs.
• Ensure that work areas are clean, organized, and safe.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow safety standards and regulations while handling tools and equipment.
• Ensure that all work complies with company policies and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or automotive-related qualification may be a plus).
• Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of motorcycles, engines, and mechanical systems.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical skills under supervision.
• Personal Attributes:
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for motorcycles and engineering.

• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Physical Requirements:
