Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Technician cum Mechanic to handle repair and maintenance of fluid pumps, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and related mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery, with strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Key Responsibilities:Maintenance & Repairs:

● Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps, gearboxes, blowers, and

hydraulic/pneumatic components.

● Dismantle, inspect, repair, or replace mechanical parts such as seals, impellers,

shafts, bearings, valves, hoses, pumps and motors.

● Carry out mechanical fitting, alignment, and assembly of pump systems.

● Maintain lubrication systems and ensure optimal working condition of all moving

components.

Troubleshooting & Diagnosis:

● Use mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams to locate and resolve faults.

● Perform failure analysis and suggest design or process modifications if required.

● Utilize diagnostic tools and technical manuals to resolve issues effectively.

Installation & Commissioning:

● Assist in the setup and alignment of new equipment including piping and support

systems.

● Fabricate or modify fittings and supports as per requirements.

Tools & Equipment Handling:

● Operate tools and machines such as grinders, drills, torque wrenches, hydraulic

presses, welding tools, and pneumatic equipment.

● Maintain service logs and ensure proper calibration of tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

● ITI - Fitter / Mechanic or equivalent trade.

● Proven experience in pump overhauling, hydraulic/pneumatic repairs, and

mechanical fitting.

● Understanding of mechanical drawings and system schematics.

● Knowledge of safe work practices and compliance with maintenance procedures.

● Ability to work independently and in a team under minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills:

● Experience with pumps/ dewatering systems/ hydraulic systems

● Familiarity with blowers, compressors, heating system

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
