JD for Technicians-chemistry

Position : Technician-Chemistry

Profile of job holder

Minimum first class in Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Polymer science.
One- or two-year experience in Chemical Laboratory.
Experience in Rubber / Polymer
would be an added advantage.
Good communication skills, well conversant with English & Hindi.
Self motivated, teamwork qualities.

Key responsibilities

Preparing chemical solutions/ reagents as per requirement. To support ongoing projects in lab from testing and draft report making perspective.
Use chemical equipments to conduct test as per requirement.
Calibration of equipment.
Monitoring of environment conditions.
Adhering of Preventive maintenance scheduling.
Material handling and tracking.
House keeping.

Key interfaces / interactions in the job

Professional & paraprofessional.
GMC Manager.
Professionals & Managers of other departments.
Calibration agencies.
Maintenance personnel.
