As the Head of Civil Infrastructure Maintenance & Civil Capex Projects at Vedanta Aluminium, you will be responsible for budgeting, planning, and implementing plant infrastructure requirements with a focus on cost, time, quality, and safety. You will oversee projects related to sustaining capital expenditure across the unit and collaborate with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to ensure timely planning and implementation. It will be your duty to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environment (HSE) requirements during site execution and regularly implement safety initiatives. Leading and mentoring a team of engineers, project managers, and contractors will be a key aspect of your role. You will provide them with the necessary resources and support to deliver their projects effectively. Monitoring and controlling project budgets and schedules, as well as providing regular progress reports to senior management, will be essential in this position. Your educational background should include a BE/BTech in Civil Engineering with 10-15 years of experience. Understanding technical and engineering requirements for infrastructure, debottlenecking, and productivity improvement is crucial. Proficiency in procurement processes, planning, site execution, and stakeholder management is highly desirable. Experience in start-to-end project management, resource allocation, and optimization will be advantageous.
