Technical Writer/ Technical Illustrator

As a Technical Writer specializing in creating and managing Parts Catalogs for automotive, agriculture, and construction equipment, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Create and update Parts Lists for a variety of equipment types. - Develop exploded view artworks and 2D illustrations to enhance parts catalogs. - Produce clear, complete, and accurate catalog content in accordance with customer guidelines. - Process and integrate data from multiple sources such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Parts Marketing, Customer Service, Parts Warehouse, and Suppliers. - Interpret engineering documents, drawings, and changes to ensure the parts catalogs are up-to-date. To excel in this role, you are required to have the following qualifications: - B.E. / B.Tech. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. In addition to the educational qualifications, you should possess the following skills and experience: - 4-7 years of hands-on experience in developing Parts Catalogs for automotive products and systems. - Expertise in tools like Arbortext Editor, IsoDraw, CreoView, and Windchill. - Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications. - Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings, 3D models, and orthographic projections. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quick learning capabilities. - Excellent communication and customer-handling skills. Mandatory Technical Skills required for this role include: - Technical Illustration (IPC) - Arbortext - Creo View - Creo - ISO Draw - Automotive Industry Knowledge - Technical Illustration / 2D Illustration - CorelDRAW Your expertise in technical writing, Creo View, technical illustration, Arbortext, IsoDraw, and other specified tools will be crucial for creating high-quality parts catalogs that meet customer standards.,
