Location:

• Competent knowledge of technical documentation, including Aircraft Interior & Seating products, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs), and other domain-specific documents like Operators & Repair/Service Manuals, Spare Part Catalogs, and Schematics & Wiring Diagrams
• Extensive understanding of technical standards, BOM product structures, and their indenture levels

Authoring Tools:

• Adobe FrameMaker
• ArborText Epic Editor
• MS Office/Word (Page Styling)

Illustration Tools:

• ISO Draw/Coral Draw
• Adobe Illustrator
• 3D Via Composer
• Adobe Photoshop
• CAD tools: CATIA V5, UG-NX, SolidWorks (added advantage)

Area of Responsibilities:

• Study CAD models and drawing samples of aircraft interiors and other domains
• Organize and write supporting CMMs for these models or drawings
• Create part lists with component details and part numbers
• Compose assembly and disassembly orders according to requirements
• Define equipment, components, systems, and installations specified to enable testing and fault isolation prior to installation
• Guide the team on creating required exploded views for CMMs
• Revise documents as new issues arise
• Develop, research, author, and revise various technical manuals for aircraft interiors & seating products, manufacturers, airlines, and other domain customers
• Take source engineering data sets and create high-quality technical publications

Desired Profile:

• Good knowledge and usage of ASD-STE100 (Simplified Technical English), S1000D, ATA iSpec 2200, and illustration standards

Skills/Experience:

• Working knowledge of aircraft interiors & seating in an aerospace environment
• Experience in using STE, ATA-100, ATA iSpec 2200, and MTOSS
• Capability to create and revise domain-specific documents
• Familiarity with CAD software like CATIA is an added advantage
