The Global WAN Fulfillment Planner position at our client's global company in Chennai is a dynamic opportunity for a network professional with a strong background in WAN solutions. As a part of the Global WAN Fulfillment Team, you will play a crucial role in planning and implementing large-scale WAN solutions utilizing Cisco enterprise routing and switching products and technologies within the client's global network. Your responsibilities will include evaluating transport providers and their offerings, assessing RFPs, implementing circuits, and maintaining the existing global WAN environment. Transition planning from legacy to emerging solutions, budgetary estimation, technical documentation, and effective communication with internal teams and external vendors will also be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, plan, and implement network solutions in alignment with the client's IT network standards and vendor best practices. - Evaluate and select transport technologies, collaborating with carriers to implement circuits. - Troubleshoot network issues and propose/implement solutions. - Engage with various teams within the organization and author network change controls. - Develop test plans, update documentation, and collaborate with end-user representatives. Required Skills: - Strong background in Cisco Networks and technical troubleshooting. - Experience with Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with Palo Alto Prisma Solution. Required Experience: - 5+ years of networking experience. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in Cisco SDWAN technology. - Proficiency in BGP routing protocol, wan transport mediums, and troubleshooting. - Ability to collaborate with vendors and deliver WAN solutions. - Knowledge of tunneling protocols like IPSEC and Cisco routers.
