As a Technical Staff, Software Engineering at Dell Technologies in Bangalore, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing cutting-edge VDI-thin client software solutions. Your role will involve leading the development of scalable and secure software solutions across Linux and Windows platforms, integrating AI workflows, GenAI, and virtualization technologies. You will play a key role in driving innovation in both software and hardware architectures to meet customer requirements and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development of scalable, secure VDI-thin client OS and management software across Linux and Windows platforms - Architect system-level solutions integrating AI workflows, GenAI, and virtualization technologies such as Citrix and VMware - Optimize software-hardware configurations for datacenter performance - Provide technical vision and mentorship to cross-functional teams - Host technology reviews aligned with Dells roadmap - Collaborate with partners and customers to assess needs and design scalable solutions - Generate intellectual property through invention disclosures and open-source contributions - Identify and communicate differentiation opportunities to stakeholders - Oversee end-to-end development and deployment of next-gen solutions aligned with business goals Qualifications Required: - Over 20 years of experience in software engineering with leadership roles and customer issue handling - Proven track record in architecting and delivering complex system software solutions for Linux and Windows OS - Hands-on technical proficiency in coding, debugging, and enterprise cluster deployments - Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines - Skilled in vendor engagement and building technical relationships Desirable Qualifications: - Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - Experience in driving innovation in GenAI, cloud-native development, and open-source ecosystems - Success in mentoring senior engineers and leading large-scale development initiatives - Contributions to the Linux Community About Dell Technologies: Dell Technologies is a family of businesses dedicated to transforming how individuals and organizations work, live, and play.
