Job Description

As a Technical Support Specialist within the CDO EICS Networks team at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of global Wireless LAN and connectivity services. Your expertise in WLAN design and advanced troubleshooting will be pivotal to our transition towards a hybrid network, enhancing service delivery for IT Wireless network solutions. Responsibilities: - Provide expert IT service management in Incident, Problem, and Change Management for Wireless LAN and CPPM technologies. - Analyze and resolve complex production network issues to ensure reliable service operation for IT Wireless network services. - Administer service requests, execute network changes, and manage escalated incidents or priority incidents end-to-end. - Collaborate with cross-technology teams to provide timely updates and coordinate incident resolutions. - Identify root causes of network incidents, develop preventive actions, and adhere to change management processes. - Design and deploy wireless networks and authentication solutions while ensuring compliance with security best practices. - Mentor junior team members, stay updated on industry trends in network security technologies, drive results, and foster a strong customer focus in a dynamic, global team environment. Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree or engineering degree in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent. - Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Network services with deep knowledge of and management in a complex environment. - Experience in network designs/configurations, managing, supporting, and deploying network infrastructures. - Strong ability to diagnose network alerts, events, or issues. - Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with minimal supervision. - Good oral and written communication skills, ability to address conflict constructively. - Ability to work in the US time zone whenever required. - Proficient in network technologies such as TCP/IP, VRRP, DNS, ARP, STP, Trunking, & Port Channeling, VRF, IPsec, and TLS. - Hands-on experience in enterprise WAN architecture deployment and support using various industry devices. - Hands-on experience in campus LAN switching architecture deployment and support using various industry devices. - Hands-on experience in handling Nokia 7X50/77XX/7210 hardware/software or equivalent. - Expertise in complex routing design, routing issues with a multi-vendor environment. - Experience in IPv6 WAN routing architecture and deployment expertise. - Experience in troubleshooting Wireless LAN (Aruba or any WLAN environment) and Firewalls (Fortinet or any) at an enterprise level. - Expertise in 2-3 IT Network technologies with multiple skill troubleshooting operational experience would be preferred.,
