Job Description

As a Technical Specialist (Water Resources), your role will involve: - Responsible for riverine/urban flood modeling, sedimentation transport modelling using widely accepted models like HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, MIKE, SWMM, TUFLOW, etc. - Guiding the water resources team in developing urban flood, riverine flood, flash flood, and flood forecasting models, including calibration and validation. - Preparing high-quality technical proposals, reports, and presentations. - Interacting closely with Clients, conducting meetings, and presenting proposals, progress, and project outputs before them. Qualifications required: - Masters degree in Water Resources Engineering/ Hydrology or related fields. - 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience in Flood Modeling (preferably using HEC suite of modules). - Fundamental knowledge of hydrological/hydraulic modeling and its application, including flood inundation modeling and sediment transport modeling. - Proactive and professional in dealing with complex water resources problems. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Basic knowledge of Python, R programming languages, ArcGIS, and QGIS is preferable.,
