Technical Specialist-Testing Services

ROLE SUMMARY

Customer is seeking a Guidewire Claims Center QA Tester who will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process, improving testing strategies, collaborating with other departments, and utilizing knowledge of Guidewire technologies to ensure the software meets high-quality standards. They also solve problems, report to stakeholders, and work within Agile methodologies.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop Test Plan, Strategy documents, review with management, and execute.
• Estimate upcoming work, plan the resources according to priorities, and meet the timeline with best quality output.
• Analyze requirements, write Scenarios, Test cases, execute, and review QA team results.
• Do in-depth analysis on any QA/UAT/Production issues, report with appropriate details, retest once addressed, and track them to closure.

• Coordinate with Business Analysis, Development and Management teams for all clarifications, and follow-up to completion.
• Develop and execute SQL statements with proficiency.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years in IT field with 5+ years within Guidewire Claims Center Integration / Configuration Testing role - is required.
• Prior experience in Guidewire Claims Center, delivering at least 2 end-to-end Claim s product implementations within Commercial Insurance space - is required.
• Hands-on experience in Claim Center and integration testing and knowledge in Policy Center.
• Strong proficiency in writing SQL and validating data from the database.
• Experience with Scrum or other Agile development methodologies - is required.
• Data Validation experience with product migrations / conversion - is required.
• Experience in using Test Management tools like Microsoft Test Manager / Rally/ JIRA.
• Working experience with legacy mainframe systems; integration testing with Claim Center, mainframe and SAP systems.
• Experience in SOAP UI testing.
• Comprehension of XMLs.
