Job Description

As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in providing a high level of service to clients by proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems. Your responsibilities include ensuring that the assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested, and operational. You will be conducting necessary checks, applying monitoring tools, responding to alerts, and identifying problems and errors in a timely manner. You will be responsible for managing tickets of high complexity, conducting advanced tasks, and providing resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems. Your role will involve investigating support calls, identifying root causes of incidents and problems, and escalating issues to third-party vendors when necessary. Additionally, you will provide onsite technical support to clients, deliver field engineering services, and work on optimizing work processes including automation opportunities. To excel in this role, you should be a graduate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Networking. You should have experience in managing large Data Centre networks for at least 3 years and experience in SDN solutions for a minimum of 1 year. Possessing an expert-level certificate in networking and Data Centre SDN solutions is preferred. Academic qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in IT/Computing, CCNP certification, and other relevant certifications will add weightage to your profile. You are expected to have seasoned years of work experience in an Engineering function within a medium to large ICT organization, particularly in Managed Services. A strong working knowledge of ITIL processes, experience in collaborating with vendors and third parties, and the ability to work on projects within the technology domain are essential for success in this role. Your proactive approach towards identifying opportunities for work optimization and delivering projects effectively and promptly will contribute to meeting client requirements and timelines. This role offers an on-site working environment, providing you with the opportunity to directly engage with clients and deliver field engineering services.
