Job Description

As a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L3) at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in providing a managed service to clients by proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems. Your primary objective will be to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions, manage tickets of high complexity, conduct advanced tasks, and provide resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the assigned infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested, and operational. You will be maintaining the NMC Operations, specializing in Routing and Switching with experience in SDWAN/ACI. Additionally, you will perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, respond to alerts, and assist in analyzing, assigning, and escalating support calls. In this role, you will investigate third-line support calls, identify the root cause of incidents and problems, and report and escalate issues to 3rd party vendors when necessary. You will also provide onsite technical support to clients and deliver field engineering services. To be successful in this position, you should have the ability to communicate and work across different cultures, plan activities and projects effectively, maintain a positive outlook at work, and thrive in a pressurized environment. Your academic qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in IT/Computing or equivalent qualification, along with a CCNP or equivalent certification. Additionally, certifications relevant to the services provided will be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have seasoned experience in the Engineering function within a medium to large ICT organization, a strong working knowledge of ITIL processes, and experience working with vendors and/or 3rd parties.
