Key Responsibilities: Undertake detailed mechanical engineering design for complex building projects. Prepare technical schedules and ensure documentation accuracy. Plan and manage CAD documentation of design deliverables. Monitor and guide performance of Technicians as appropriate. Represent Buro Happold in client, consultant, and supplier meetings under senior staff guidance. Ensure service and project work is delivered within deadlines and budget constraints. Keep senior staff informed of significant service/design decisions. Mentor and support Graduate Engineers within the team. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural, civil, and electrical engineers. Your Skills & Experience: 36 years experience in mechanical engineering within an MEP consultancy environment. Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently and in team-based settings. Broad building design knowledge gained from working on varied projects. Strong Excel skills (including macros). Mechanical expertise with good understanding of electrical concepts and their impact on overall project delivery. Awareness of other disciplines such as architecture, structural, and civil engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, IES, and Hevacomp software. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute.
