Technical reviewer - Mechanical

Job Requirements

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Well versed in 2D AutoCAD tool application.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD blocks, attributes, working with model space and layout space required.
• Previous work experience as an AutoCAD drafter and must have P&ID drafting experience.
• Must understand the tagging philosophy and PID blocks, instrument constructs for various standards.
• Mentor technical efforts within the team and be responsible for technical excellence, quality, reviews, and consistency of methods and on-time delivery of analysis, design & detailing with quality.
• Knowledge or working experience in the process engineering drawing deliverables such as PFD, P&ID and 2D Configuration GA drawings.
• Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Process and Water industry experience and design knowledge of equipment layout, piping layout, are added advantage.
  

Work Experience

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Experience in related industry (Design/ EPC/ Oil and Gas/ Petrochemical industry).
• Assist with promoting best practice internally.
• Minimum 6 - 10 years of experience in analysis, design and detailing of Pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, piping system, pipe supports, and pipe support structures. Steel & RC structures, preparation / review of detailed fabrication drawings, vendor document review cum interactions in oil & gas, Petrochemical, fertilizers & power plants.
• Experience working on Tools/ Software: AutoCad, Plant 3D and Solid works
• Design experience in P&ID, isometric drafting and 3D plant modelling using Plant 3D,PDMS
  

Desired Skills

• Experience in an engineering position in Oil and gas/ Petro-chemical
• As-built Drafting using AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SPPID and piping design will be added advantage
