Objective: As the Head of Material Science , you will lead the development, testing, and application of plastic raw materials to enhance product performance . You will drive innovation by researching new materials and optimizing polymer solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of polymer materials with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance. Develop material selection strategies aligned with application needs, sustainability, and cost-efficiency. Manage and mentor a team of engineers, overseeing research, testing, and evaluation. Collaborate with product design, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate materials into products. Stay updated on polymer science advancements and new processing technologies. Establish relationships with suppliers, research institutions, and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with international safety and environmental regulations . Drive continuous improvements in material processing, performance, and sustainability. Experience & Qualification: Masters / Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Material Science, or Plastics Engineering . 10-15 years of experience in polymer material research, selection, and processing . Expertise in polymer chemistry, material characterization, and processing technologies. Leadership experience in managing R&D teams and driving innovation . Familiarity with plastic manufacturing techniques (injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming) . Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, RoHS, REACH) and sustainability trends. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills .
