Technical Program Manager, Data Cloud

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You will be equally adept at explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Your responsibilities will include: - Setting the goal and direction for a program by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and running multiple projects, organizing cross-project work within the program, and defining program controls/governance/standards. - Driving consistency between Cloud processes and central processes, bringing visibility, and strengthening communication across the teams. - Enabling execution across multiple teams and driving delivery across the complete portfolio of Cloud products and solutions. - Engaging with engineering directors, product leaders, and other Technical Program Manager (TPM) groups to streamline processes, simplify execution, manage Objectives and Key Results (OKR), release on time, and bring tooling. - Contributing to various initiatives in Data Cloud and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) TPM community. Qualifications required: - Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in technical program management leading projects. - Experience in data analytics program management. Preferred qualifications: - Experience in change management, program management tooling, and new tooling rollout. - Ability to communicate from executives to individual engineers. - Excellent writing and communication skills, with strong attention to details.
