Technical Manager

As a Technical Manager SaaS Data Protection at IDrive, you will be responsible for designing and leading all modules powering the SaaS data protection solutions for various platforms such as Office 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Zoho, Dropbox, and Box. **Role Overview:** You will be leading the technical aspects of the SaaS data protection architecture, team management, delivery management, performance, reliability, operations, data & messaging systems, cloud & API integrations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own the full-stack SaaS data protection architecture for various platforms. - Define scalable patterns for incremental sync, delta detection, and versioned restore. - Lead technical roadmap for upcoming CRM platforms and unified data protection framework. - Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers. - Own sprint planning, cross-team alignment, and on-time delivery of multi-cloud backup features. - Champion 99.99% uptime with SLOs and distributed tracing. - Evolve MongoDB schemas for unified backup metadata and job history. - Scale RabbitMQ for high-throughput job orchestration. - Govern API connectors and standardize rate-limiting, webhook handling, OAuth refresh. - Own AWS S3 backend operations. **Qualifications Required:** - 7+ years of backend engineering experience; 2+ years in team leadership. - Mastery in NodeJS or .NET Core. - Experience with event-driven, scalable systems using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SNS/SQS. - Deep expertise in MongoDB and distributed systems thinking. - Hands-on experience with Linux, CI/CD, and infrastructure scripting. - Bachelor's in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
