Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Team Lead to manage the day-to-day operations of our Digital Marketing Platform (DMP) team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee project execution, facilitate communication with stakeholders, and ensure your team is aligned with our company's strategic goals. Your expertise in data integrations and the digital advertising landscape will be key to our success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the hands-on technical development of our core products, focusing on PHP, Symfony, and React.
    PHP: Expert-level knowledge of all major versions, with a deep understanding of best practices.
  • Symfony: Extensive experience with the Symfony framework.
  • JavaScript: Proficiency in vanilla JavaScript and React.js for building modern, interactive front-ends.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Manage the DMP team's project backlog, ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders, translating business requirements into actionable engineering tasks.
  • Drive the technical strategy for our marketing and advertising initiatives, including data integrations with platforms like Google PMax, Search and Display Ads, and Metasearch.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and marketing teams to align roadmaps and manage expectations.
  • Oversee the development of systems that support scalable, reliable, and accurate data tracking and analysis.

Required Skills and Qualification

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of experience with a proven track record of developing and maintaining complex web applications.

Required Experience

Marketing & Advertising Ecosystem Knowledge

  • Digital Marketing: Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and campaign structures.
  • Ad Platforms: Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Ads, their APIs, reporting tools, and attribution models.
  • Ad Tech: Awareness of ad tech constraints, including tracking limitations, GDPR compliance, and server-side tracking.

Data Analytics & Performance Insight

  • Data Analysis: Hands-on experience with analytics and performance data to support decision-making.
  • Marketing KPIs: Solid understanding of key metrics (CAC, ROAS, CTR, conversion rates) and how to analyze them from a technical perspective.
  • Data Collaboration: Ability to coordinate with data teams on data modeling, dashboarding, and report automation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Communication: Proven ability to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and aligning roadmaps with business priorities.

Strategic & Operational Vision

  • Technical Strategy: Capable of defining and driving technical strategy in alignment with marketing and growth objectives.
  • Growth Mindset: Comfortable participating in growth experiments, A/B testing frameworks, and funnel optimization discussions.
