? 5+ years of experience on DB2 database administration on z/OS.
? Install, upgrade, and customise DB2 subsystems on z/OS.? Strong knowledge of DB2 on z/OS, including data sharing and non-data sharing environments.? Perform backups, restores, Index maintenance, and run stats.? Apply maintenance refreshes to DB2, such as applying PTF's, APAR's and RSU maintenance.? Activate Function levels in DB2.? Proficiency with DB2 utilities: Copy, Reorg, Load, Unload and Standalone utilities.? Experience with recovery concepts.? Perform daily DB2 system administration tasks (e.g., ZPARM updates, GRANTS).? Experience with DBADM and SYSADM authorities.? Provide technical recommendations and support for DB2-related issues.? Familiarity with SMP/E and JCL.? DB2 performance monitoring and tuning.? Troubleshooting the resource utilization issues like CPU, Memory, Disk space, etc. ? Knoweldge on Rexx.? Collaborate with operations and automation teams to define procedures and reduce manual effort.
