Job Description

Job Summary:

Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Write efficient and scalable code in
Java
for data ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
Design, develop, and maintain robust
ETL pipelines
for large-scale data processing.
Implement real-time and batch data streaming solutions using
Apache Kafka
.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Work with
Azure Data Lake
,
Azure Data Factory
, and other cloud-native tools to manage and optimize data workflows.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all stages of the data lifecycle.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and streaming jobs for performance and reliability.
Contribute to the architecture and design of enterprise-level data platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong programming skills in
Java
.
Hands-on experience with
Apache Kafka
(producers, consumers, stream processing).
Proven experience in building and maintaining
ETL jobs
using modern tools and frameworks.
Solid understanding of
Data Lake architecture
and
cloud-based data platforms
(preferably Azure).
Experience with
data transformation
techniques and tools.
Familiarity with
Azure services
such as Data Factory, Synapse, Blob Storage, etc.
Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with
Kafka Streams
,
Kafka Connect
, or
Apache Flink
.
Exposure to
Big Data technologies
like Spark, Hive, or Hadoop.
Certification in
Azure Data Engineering
or related fields.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
