Technical Lead For Mobile Application Development (Android/ iOS)

Technical Lead (Mobile)

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance Android/iOS applications.
  
• Prepare high-level and low-level design for features, modules, and integrations.
  
• Optimize app performance (speed, memory, battery, reliability).
  
• Ensure secure coding, encryption, and compliance standards.
  
• Manage app publishing processes (App Store & Play Store) including metadata, compliance, and versioning.
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams.
  
• Maintain code quality through reviews, standards, and automated testing.
  
• Stay updated with the latest tools, frameworks, and platform changes.
  
• Create and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, and risk plans.
  
• Conduct technical design reviews and ensure architecture alignment.
  
• Enforce coding, security, performance, and accessibility best practices.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).
  
• 12 - 15 years of experience in Technical Leadership / Program Management for web & mobile development.
  
• Proven experience delivering native or hybrid apps on both iOS and Android.
  
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  
• Hands-on experience with app publishing on App Store & Play Store.
  
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  
• Strong knowledge of architecture, APIs, security, performance, and system design.
  
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, etc.).
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cross-platform development ecosystems.
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools.
  
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, privacy regulations, and security best practices.
  
• Experience working with globally distributed teams and third-party vendors.
