Technical Lead - Data Foundations Squad

NTT DATA is looking for a Technical Lead - Data Foundations Squad to join the team in Bangalore, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN). The ideal candidate should be a highly experienced technical lead who will work jointly with a solution architect to run a medium sized squad responsible for delivering data as a product integrations and flows. This squad will be the first to utilize new standards and tools delivered by the squads working on the core platform. The Technical Lead will be responsible for delivering value and working with upstream teams to ensure that the baseline standards are of high quality and fit for purpose. As a Technical Lead at NTT DATA UK, you will be expected to mentor and lead quality across the engineering activities within your team. Collaboration with the program-wide engineering lead will be essential to ensure consistent standards across the platform. The successful candidate will need to have a deep understanding of data products and/or DAAP concepts, as well as the ability to quickly upskill themselves and others on new technologies. Experience at the level of technical lead or lead engineer for at least 2 years is required, along with significant expertise in Python, including design paradigms. Additionally, experience with Kafka or another log-based streaming technology, Snowflake or another cloud-scale warehousing solution, Terraform, unit testing within a data landscape, agile workflow, and strong communication skills are necessary. Extra useful skills include experience with working in a multi-vendor requirement, a working understanding of cloud security, architectural patterns for real-time data, and a history of authoring formal documentation and low-level designs for a wide range of target audiences.
